English-Chinese Mistranslations

Urinating Into the Pool

Today’s mistranslation is a popular sign that has been traveling around the Internet for quite some time. We had the sign professionally translated, but as it turns out, the translation is actually quite accurate. There is only one mistake. What reads as “urinating into the pool” should have read as “urinating into the toilet bowl”. What makes this sign so peculiar is that it is just a peculiar sign. Why has the sign always wanted to talk to us? Why does it say “you are the best”? The world will probably never know the secret behind this peculiar mistranslation.
